やっと、ラベンダーの剪定をしました
もうちょっとブルーな時に切っていたらドライにするのに綺麗だったでしょうね
でも、香りは満開時に負けない程強いです しばらく楽しめそう
I cutback my lavenders today.
It would have been prettier for drying if I had cut them earlier when they are still blue.
But, they still smell fantastic and we can enjoy the aroma for a while inside.

エリンジュームもそろそろ終わりです
こちらもドライにしたら可愛いですね
わたしはルリタマと性が合わないみたいで（大好きなのに）どうしても育ってくれませんが
エリンジュームは大丈夫 コボレ種で少しずつ増えてくれています
The Sea holly (Eryngium) is about done, too.
I don't know why, but I can not grow globe thistle (Echinops) which I love.
I have been lucky with Sea holly though, spreading moderately with seeds.

最後のカリオプテリスですがこれとよく似たやはり金葉の新しい品種があり
息子と同じ名前なんですよ
見たらやっぱり買うだろうな～ お母さんだからな～ ^^
There is newer bluebeard (Cryopteris) cultivar available also with the golden leaves just like my 'Worcester gold', but this newer one and our son share the same name.
I'm pretty sure that I will buy it if I see it...such a Mom. ^^
